1. Controller

SolCheck, Switzerland, is responsible for processing your personal data. For questions about data protection you can reach us at no-reply@solcheck.ch.

2. What data we process

We process the data you provide via our forms (name, address, email, phone, details about your project) as well as technical data such as your IP address and usage data via Google Analytics.

3. Purpose of processing

The data is used to broker your request to suitable installers, to invoice partners, to analyse website usage and for marketing.

4. Legal basis

As a private company we process personal data in accordance with the principles of the revised Data Protection Act (revFADP); separate consent is generally not required. We use analytics cookies on the basis of Art. 45c lit. b of the Telecommunications Act (TCA): we inform you about their use and purpose, and you may refuse them at any time. For advertising cookies (Google Ads) we obtain your explicit consent. Otherwise we rely on our legitimate interest in operating and improving our service. If you visit our website from the EEA or the United Kingdom, analytics and advertising cookies are only loaded after your consent.

6. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to analyse website usage. Usage data is collected and transmitted to Google. The IP address is anonymised. This website is aimed at visitors in Switzerland; analytics cookies are set here without prior consent, on the basis of Art. 45c lit. b TCA. You can object to the analysis at any time via the – your objection is stored for 180 days. When accessed from the EEA or the United Kingdom, analytics cookies are only loaded after your consent. A data transfer to the USA may take place; Google is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the Federal Council has recognised as providing adequate protection.

7. Google Ads

With your consent we use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.

8. Recipients of the data

Your request is passed on to vetted installers (partners). We also work with service providers such as Google (Analytics, Maps) and our email delivery service.

9. Retention

We retain your data only for as long as is necessary for the stated purposes or required by statutory retention periods.

10. Your rights

You have the right to information, rectification, erasure and data portability. You can also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority – the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
